Applicants living in the MIDLANDS & SOUTH WALES can apply for a lost passport to the Assistant High Commission for the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Birmingham. 

Applicants from other areas are requested to apply in their closest High Commission (ie. LONDON & MANCHESTER).

An incomplete application could delay the processing time. Please submit the complete application.

 

Applicants living in the following areas can apply for Visa in Birmingham. 

 

Midlands: 

Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Hereford and Worchester, Salop, Gloucestershire. 

 

South Wales: 

Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Powys, Mid Glamorgan, South Glamorgan, Dyfed, Gwent. 

 

To apply for a Bangladesh visa, the applicant must submit the following documents to the Assistant High Commission, Birmingham:

           

  1. Duly filled in Visa Application Form.                                                                

  2. Valid Passport. The validity of your passport has to be more than six months.

  3. (One) recent passport size photograph.

  4. Documentary evidence of identification in support of various types of applications. (Please see the requirement section).  

(Note that: Applicant(s) living United Kingdom holding other country's passport need to submit their resident permit and a proof of address along with photocopy while submitting the application in the Mission).

 

 

 

Requirements :

 

 Business Visa

  1. Letter from the concerning business organization in the UK.

  2. Invitation letter from Bangladeshi organization mentoring applicant’s Identity.

  3. Proof of Address in UK. ( e.g. Driving License or any Utility Bill).

  4. Photocopy of previous Visa ( if any).

  5. Letter from related Ministry’s Authorisation in the case of Multiple Entry.

 

Tourist Visa

  1. Invitation letter from Bangladesh.

  2. Valid Passport Photocopy/ Voter ID card of the sponsor. 

  3. Proof of Address in the UK ( e.g. Driving License or any Utility Bill).

  4. Proof of employment. 

  5. Photocopy of previous Visa ( if any).

 

Employment Visa

  1. A confirmation letter from the Employer.

  2. Approval letter from relevant Ministry or Board of Investment or Export Processing Zone in Bangladesh

  3. Proof of Address ( e.g. Driving License or any Utility Bill)

  4. Photocopy of previous Visa ( if any)

  5. Appointment letter or Contract papers with full terms and conditions

 

Student Visa

  1. Proof of Letter from Govt. approved educational Institution where the applicant has got admitted or going to be admitted in Bangladesh.

  2. Sponsorship letter from concern educational institute of Bangladesh.

  3. Bank Statement (Last three months).

  4. Applicant must bring the Student ID with a photocopy.

 

Research Visa

  1. A letter from the concerned organization/institution from Bangladesh with the approval letter from respective ministry.

  2. Letter from concerned organization/institution mentioning in what purpose the applicant is interested in attending Research/training / Internship.

  3. Letter from Employer/ organization where the applicant belongs to.

 

Visa for Journalists

  1. Support letter from related organizations desiring the purpose of his visit.

  2. Documents for which the Press Section will be in a position to guide from time to time. Please contact us before submission of the Visa.

 

Visa for NGO

  1. A certified letter from the concerned NGO of Bangladesh should be duly attested by the NGO affairs bureau, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

  2. An appointment letter with full terms and conditions from the NGO where the applicant is going to join.

  3. Letter from the present employer where the applicant belongs to.

 

Diplomatic Visa

Note Verbal or official letter from concern Embassy/ office/organization.

 

Tablig/ Markaz Visa

  1. Letter from tablig markaz in the UK and one letter from tablig markaz, Bangladesh.

  2. Proof of Address.
