Bangladeshi Citizens living in the MIDLANDS & SOUTH WALES can apply for lost passports to the Assistant High Commission for the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Birmingham. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Applicants from other areas are requested to apply in their closest High Commission (ie. LONDON & MANCHESTER).

 

An incomplete Application could delay the processing time. Please submit the complete application.

 

Bangladeshi Citizens living in the following areas can apply for Machine Readable Passport in Birmingham. 

 

Midlands: 

Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Hereford and Worchester, Salop, Gloucestershire. 

 

South Wales: 

Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Powys, Mid Glamorgan, South Glamorgan, Dyfed, Gwent. 

 

Requirements for New Passport against a lost passport:

 

  1. Duly filled MRP online application form.

  2. Police Certificate from acro.police.uk

  3. Photocopy of the lost/stolen passport. For Handwritten passport pages 1-7; for MRP (Digital) passport photo page and additional information page.

  4. 17 Digit online Birth Certificates duly attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.

  5. Any other available photo ID.

  6. Educational certificate (SSC/HSC etc.)/ Transcript from Bangladesh.

  7. Proof of profession.

  8. Original along with a copy of foreign passport (if applicable).

Requirements for New Passport Against Home Office reference:

 

  1. Duly filled MRP online application form.

  2. Photocopy of lost/stolen passport. For Handwritten passport pages 1-7; for MRP (Digital) passport photo page and additional information page.

  3. An original Home Office letter mentioning the name and passport number of the applicant /copy of passport certified by the Home Office (in case the passport is retained by the Home office).

  4. 17 Digit online Birth Certificate duly attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.

  5. Any other available photo ID.

  6. Educational certificate (SSC/HSC etc.)/ Transcript from Bangladesh.

  7. Proof of profession.

  8. Original along with a copy of foreign passport (if applicable).

* Birth Certificate must be issued by the competent authority of Bangladesh and must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.

Payment Method:

 

  • Only debit card / postal orders are payable to Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Birmingham. Cash is not accepted

  • Application Fee (Non-Refundable): £92.00. 

 

*Additional documents may be required. Mission reserves the right to seek supplements as and when required.

 

*Both the original and one copy of the application and all supporting documents are to be submitted. After verification, originals will be returned and copies shall be kept in the mission for future records.
