Attestation

In compliance with Nationwide Lockdown the Assistant High Commission(AHC) in Birmingham temporarily suspends providing over-the-counter services with effect from 04 January 2021(Monday).

However, the AHC will remain open and answer your queries over telephone. 

We shall be providing following services by post only:

# No Visa Required(NVR)

# Passport Re-issue (only if change of photo or taking fingerprints is not required) 

# Attestation (not Power of Attorney)

Following services, for which phisical presence is required, will remain suspended until the situation improves:

# New Passport (if the current passport is hand-written/applicant is below 20 and change of photo is required/lost passport)

# Power of Attorney( Or of this kind, for which physical presence of the applicant(s) in the Mission is required)

Incomplete Application could delay the processing time. Please submit the complete application.

 

To have your documents attested by the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Birmingham:

• Educational certificates
• Mark sheets
• Transcripts
• Marriage certificate
• Birth / Death certificate
• Marital status certificate
• Guardianship certificate
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Commercial documents

• Bank statements

• Translated documents
• Commercial documents duly legalized by concerned Ministry / Office etc;

 

Requirements for the attestation:

 

  1. The original document(s) along with a photocopy.

  2. One passport size recent photograph.

  3. Valid Passport.

  4. Signature attestation, the individual must come in person with a valid passport and a passport size photograph.

 

Payment Method:

 

  • Only debit card / postal order accepted. 

  • Debit card ( In person Submission). 

  • Postal Order Payable to “ Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Birmingham” or via telephone by debit card to receive services by post.

  • Application Fees (Non-Refundable): £7.00/- Each different page of the document/photograph.

 

Processing Time:

 

  • Next working day.

  • Please provide a prepaid self-addressed special delivery envelope if you want us to return your documents by post. 

 

 

The authority reserves the right to reject any application or document at any time without ascertaining any reason.
